Photo book of Dutch monuments: Broek in Waterland - photographs of historic Dutch interiors
Interior of De Erven 10-14 originates from early 17th century. The illusionist ceilings with angels and birds, and the wall paintings showing biblical and mythological scenes are typical of late 17th century style. The grand house at Havenrak 25-29 is L-shaped. In addition to the bedsteads there is an original stuccoed Louis XVI mantelpiece and a tiled wall featuring scenes from the Bible.
